This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from https://www.wakewelltoday.com (the “Site”). This privacy notice applies solely to the information collected by this website. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Your privacy is very important to us. At WakeWell we have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. (We can’t stand services that ask you for things like your gender or income level for no apparent reason.)
  • We will not obtain personally-identifying information (PII) about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information.
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.

And rest assured, we will never sell or rent your personal information to any third party.

We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Site. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information Collection and Uses

When you visit the Site, we may collect different types of information from you. Some information (e.g., device information) is collected automatically, while other information is only collected when you voluntarily provide it to us through responses to surveys or questionnaires, click on an action box, or when you fill out a form.

While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) may include, but is not limited to:

Analytics

We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.     Information Actively Provided by You

    You may choose to interact with WakeWell or the Site in ways that require we or our affiliates gather personally-identifiable information (PII) to fulfill your request. The amount and type of information that is gathered depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who comment on our blog or review our products to provide a username and email address. For those who wish to receive WakeWell updates, offers or newsletters via email, we collect their emails. For those that choose to purchase a product or service from our website, we collect their name, address, email, phone number and payment information (including credit card numbers and processing information) to be able to fulfill their order.

    In each case, we collect such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with WakeWell. WakeWell does not disclose PII other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply PII, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

    Contact Forms

    Comments and Reviews

    When visitors leave comments on the Site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. We will also store comments or reviews if you choose to leave them.

    Media

    If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

    Other Information We Collect

    If you choose to identify yourself (or otherwise provide us with personal information) when you use our online forms:

    • We will collect (and may retain) any personally identifying information, such as your name, street address, email address, and phone number, and any other information you provide. We will use this information to try to fulfill your request and may use it provide you with additional information at a later time.     • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

    If you request information, services, or assistance, we may disclose your personal information to those third parties that (in our judgment) are appropriate in order to fulfill your request (e.g., shipping a purchased product, sending a requested email). If, when you provide us with such information, you specify that you do not want us to disclose the information to third parties, we will honor your request.     How We Use Your Personal Information

    We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

    • Communicate with you;
    • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
    • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

    We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

    Who On Our Team Has Access

    Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

    • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
    • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

    Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

    Sharing Your Personal Information

    We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information to serve you better and improve our website, and as described within this document. These are not purchasers of your information, but rather are third party providers that help us serve you. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

    Our Site is powered by WordPress.com and uses several plugins to provide the functionality needed for you to use the site. Automattic is the company behind WordPress.com, Jetpack, WooCommerce Services, and other tools that this Site uses. The following information provides information on how these providers collect your personal information and use it to make our Site function and provide value to you.

    Automattic

    WooCommerce

    We use WooCommerce to power our online store. WooCommerce is a product of Automattic. You can read more about how Automattic uses your Personal Information in WooCommerce’s privacy policy.

    We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

    MailChimp

    We use MailChimp to assist in improving your shopping experience. When shopping, Mailchimp keeps a record of your email and the cart contents for up to 30 days on their server. This record is kept to repopulate the contents of your cart if you switch devices or needed to come back another day.     Omnisend

    We use Omnisend to assist in improving your shopping experience. When shopping, Omnisend may keep a record of your email and/or phone number and the cart contents for a short period on their server. This record is kept to repopulate the contents of your cart if you switch devices or needed to come back another day.     Payment Processing

    In order to process your orders, we use PayPal, Inc. to help handle our customer payments. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Please see the PayPal Privacy Policy for more details on how they handle your data.

    Data Used: purchase total, currency, billing information. For taxes: the value of goods in the cart, value of shipping, destination address. For checkout rates: destination address, purchased product IDs, dimensions, weight, and quantities. For shipping labels: customer’s name, address as well as the dimensions, weight, and quantities of purchased products.

    Data Synced: For payments, we send the purchase total, currency and customer’s billing information to the respective payment processor. Please see the PayPal Privacy Policy for more details. For automated taxes we send the value of goods in the cart, the value of shipping, and the destination address to Automattic, Inc. Please see Autommatic’s Privacy Policy for details about how they handle this information.

    Shipping Data: We use a shipping service company called Popout, Inc. d/b/a Shippo to order shipping labels when our customers order a product. Please see the Shippo Privacy Policy for more details. To order shipping labels customer information like name, email, phone number, destination address, purchased product dimensions, weight, and quantities is sent to USPS, UPS or Fedex, or other shipping service provider depending on the service used.

    Google Analytics

    Behavioral Advertising
