Fully Adjustable and Supportive

This pillow has two, individually-adjustable, support zones. By adjusting the fill level in each zone, you can customize your pillow to give support similar to a contoured foam pillow, but with the feel of a loose fill pillow. No other pillow provides this level of comfort, support and adjustability.

Eco-Friendly and Non-Toxic

The organic cotton case is made from natural materials grown using sustainable farming practices, and processed using environmentally friendly methods.

The pillow is filled with a blend of shredded natural and synthetic Talalay latex. This latex is non-toxic, does not off-gas, and is Oeko-Tex 100 certified for product class I, meaning it has been independently tested and verified to be free from harmful substances and safe for babies.
Latex is naturally breathable so it sleeps cooler than other foams. Latex is hypoallergenic, anti-microbial and anti-fungal, helping reduce allergy symptoms and further improve your sleep.

At WakeWell we strive to limit our environmental impact as much as possible and avoid virgin plastics and paper where possible. For example, we use boxes made from 100% recycled paper and zippers made from 100% recycled plastic. Similarly, our natural/synthetic Talalay latex blend fill is made by shredding cutoffs and factory seconds from the making of mattresses and solid foam pillows. This allows us to utilize clean, unused materials that would otherwise be thrown into a landfill. While not perfect, we do our best to limit our impacts as much as possible.

We would love to use only all-natural materials in our products, however, the reality is that there is a world-wide latex shortage that began way back in 2004 and is only getting worse. There is not enough all-natural latex to meet the world's demands. Recent natural disasters and diseases have exacerbated the problem. This is causing the price of all-natural latex to continue to rise at ever increasing rates. Current material costs for all-natural Talalay latex in particular makes it impossible to offer a 100% all-natural Talalay latex pillow at a reasonable price. While the world looks for alternative long-term natural solutions to this crisis, such as latex made from the guayule shrub or rubber dandelion plants, we need to look for interim solutions to fill the demand gap now. Our natural/synthetic blend Talalay latex pillow is our gap solution and helps keep unused latex out of the landfills.

Materials

Pillow Cover: The pillow cover is made with a luxurious 500 thread count, 100% organic cotton sateen fabric (undyed, natural color) and organic cotton thread.

Fill: These pillows are filled with a blend of shredded natural and synthetic Talalay latex. Sleeping on shredded latex is like sleeping on a cloud, yet it provides superb support.

Zipper: High-quality, YKK NATULON^® chemically recycled zipper. Made from chemically recycled polyester (post consumer), it is perpetually recyclable. Both the zipper chain and slider are made from recycled materials. Since there are no metal components, this zipper can be easily broken down and recycled when you are ready to replace your pillow.

Packaging: Our pillows are sent to you in boxes made from 100% recycled material, with 95% post-consumer content. We use recyclable paper tape with plant based, biodegradable adhesives. Our shipping labels utilize recycle compatible adhesive and are fully recyclable. The labels come on release liners that are 100% recycled AND curbside recyclable.
